Pastors, Scholars and Beggars - German Protestant Travelers and Migrants in England before the Hanoverian succession. This lecture is given by Alexander Schunka, Professor of Early Modern History at the Free University of Berlin, who works extensively on the history of European intercultural transfer and he here looks at the often precarious lives of German migrants in England.
